This OET Speaking training program is designed to help healthcare professionals develop confident, clear, and exam-ready communication skills for the OET Speaking sub-test.
The course begins with an introductory video that explains the structure of the Speaking exam, roleplay format, assessment criteria, and what examiners expect from candidates. This foundation helps students understand how their performance is evaluated before starting practical training.
Following the introduction, students gain access to 38 short recorded training videos featuring real speaking practice and guidance with other doctors. These recordings demonstrate common clinical scenarios, appropriate language use, interaction techniques, and common mistakes to avoid. The videos allow learners to observe, reflect, and improve their own speaking performance.
The program also includes a wide collection of OET Speaking cards, covering different medical scenarios and professions. These cards help students practise roleplays systematically, improve response structure, and apply the correct professional tone.
To ensure personalised improvement, students receive direct 1-to-1 coaching with a doctor. Each private session lasts 45 minutes and focuses on live roleplay practice, targeted feedback, and practical strategies to improve fluency, pronunciation, interaction, and clarity. Coaching is aligned with the official OET Speaking assessment criteria, including intelligibility, linguistic resources, clinical communication, and overall performance.
This course is ideal for doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals who want structured practice, expert guidance, and personalised support to perform confidently in the OET Speaking exam.
